As Tom mentioned earlier, my del Sol could use a good lowering. So I finally decided to do it. I should have the adjustable springs by this weekend.

The kit lets me go up to 4" lower than stock. From what I understand, I can go 1.75" lower without needing a special camber kit. I will post after pics hopefully this weekend. Maybe I could get some opinions if lower is better.:D
Hi Dan:
___I know you have looked at every single detail already but you are running a well oversized tire/rim now, right? Are you going to have tire to wheel well clearance issues at steering wheel lock right or left?
___Good Luck

krousdb 02-20-2006, 06:25 PM Wow that picture is big. How do i resize it?
The tires are 2" taller than stock for the S model and 1" taller than the Si.
I will have to play with the height to see if I have any interferences. 1" lower will be no problem. I will start there and evaluate.
Hi Dan:
___I took the liberty to save, resize, upload into my gallery, and re-link her into your post. I use ACDSee for image manipulations. It is a powerful yet not overly complicated piece of SW that you might like to try for yourself?
___In the gallery, I listed it as a 1994 Honda Civic del Sol? If that it incorrect, I can fix that. If it is the 1994 del Sol w/ the 1.5L and a stick, 35/41 is all she was rated for and you are most certainly kicking those EPA estimates in the teeth with the 50 + mpg tanks even in the cold temps of the upper mid-west! Nice job indeed! Wait until you get some HS and LS P&G as well as FAS trials down with her and watch her FE soar this summer :D
___And how could I forget, she still looks fantastic!
___Good Luck

Actually, it is a 93 del Sol S, 1.5L, 5 Speed, 34/38 EPA Estimates. Please update the gallery. I have been wondering why the 94 & 95's were rated 35/41. Any ideas?
I just posted my 3rd 50+ MPG tank. Since they all have been in January and February, it appears that 50 is my lower limit. Fingers crossed.
Have you figured out the Mileage DB yet?

I see you noticed that it is red.:D
Also it only has 43000 original miles on it. It had just been repainted before I bought it. Usually after 13 years the original milano red changes to dull pink. From a distance the paint is fine, but up close you can tell that it was a MAACO paint job. Still, it is better than dull pink.:D
