Will consider selling for substantially less than asking price, to a good hypermiler home or cleanmpg family member. If this is not what you are looking for, mention it to someone who might want a high-end Insight! Thanks, Billy.....
Right Lane Cruiser 11-19-2007, 06:06 PM Billy, what gives? Are you going BEV or something?
EDIT: Man, that is one gorgeous vehicle!!!! Too bad the only kind of car I can afford right now is a Matchbox... and it would be absolutely criminal to run such a beautiful auto in the environment I live in. :(

Well, he does have 3 of them. Man that thing is beautiful, I'd trade my Civic for this in a heartbeat.
billy 11-27-2007, 02:02 PM ......looks like the car might be going to a hypermiler-in-traning in St Paul, MN, or an engineer in Pasadena, CA. Not sure yet.
I'm hoping someone will come up with a 3-cylinder diesel, lightweight 2-seater that will potentially get 95+ mpg, and be sold in North America. Or maybe Daihatsu could import a version of the UFE II or III.
mparrish 11-27-2007, 02:26 PM Bill's Insight should instead be laminated and displayed like a Honus Wagner card.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17355488/ Now for the inevitable question: because I got 100mpg to work a couple of times with MIMA, should my Insight have an astrick spray-painted on it?
Sledge 11-27-2007, 05:19 PM That depends. Do you put steroids in your fuel tank? :D
Harold 11-28-2007, 04:14 PM billy, did the car sell? H
Chuck 11-28-2007, 04:18 PM That depends. Do you put steroids in your fuel tank? :DNo, but MIMA might be considered in the same light to some. :D
billy 11-28-2007, 06:59 PM ...No, it hasn't officially sold yet. 1 person is waiting on financing, and the other is trying to convince his wife. So, it's still available.
Right Lane Cruiser 11-28-2007, 07:19 PM Aagh!! :( I'm so broke. Maybe if the St. Paul resident buys it I'll at least get to see it in person...
