I keep doing something or other, but the SG is running some unlikely figures AGAIN. I know what to check for now, I think, but can anyone think of what I might be hitting?
Today I had 20 mpg average. I don't think I have ever done that low (I mean except maybe to the crest-- altitude is maybe 1000 more feet).

I wish they had an idiot setting like my computer does. Do you really want to do this? Are you sure you want to do this?
Are you positive you want to do this? LOL! :)

I'll check the usual things and reset.

Is it possible you were checking trip and then hit reset by mistake instead of home; or maybe both at once?

It most certainly is. So reset resets EVERYTHING?

I bought gas today so I calibrated the tank and also reset everything and started over. Today's commute seemed at least plausible. We'll see. A good way of gaugign is just how good the NICE-ons are. If I'm not getting well over 250 mpg on the highway, somethings wrong.

It seems like a have to mess with it every other week or so, but it is worth it. If it gets screwed up I don't even want to look at it. I turn it to the selection screen.

Thanks for the congrats I think I have seen a little gain from P&G!

Good luck and congratulations on the new best tank.

I noticed my numbers weren't right after about 6miles after filling my tank( first one I actually filled all the way up). It was saying 9.8 mpg tank and I was coasting down hill only getting in the high 20's. I reset back to defaults then made the engine, tank size and fuel type to Hybrid. I must have hit the wrong buttons at the station. I've only seen 250mpg on fairly steep hills going from 60 to 65mph.
