I don't know how much of a benefit you'd see from this, but its worth posting and checking out. Benefits are really only under WOT and at higher speeds. Maybe during highway pulse and glide? As I don't drive one, I don't know the techniques you guys use.

I wouldn't describe the air filter box as "tiny" especially considering the low airflow requirements of the Insight's 3 cyl, 995 cc engine. His own measurements show that the pressure drop is very low with the stock system. The air intake pipe is positioned to get a little warm air from the radiator/engine bay. Warmer air gives a bigger bang for the buck than slightly pressurized cool air.

To get both warmer air and pressurized air, install a turbo minus the intercooler. :cool:
