Well this past week, I had to go up to Burlington Vermont for the work week.

I've been trying to get the basics down now for a couple of week, and it has helped me improve my MPG from 27MPG to my last tank which was 39.01 MPG. AWESOME!

I think this could be even better if I purchase a scangauge.

The driving for the week was about 70% Highway/30% City.

I love this site!

Thanks!!!
Chris

That' great!

Yes, with ScanGage you probably would have broken 40!

Thanks for all the info everyone!! I joined this site about two weeks ago, and since then have been reading it daily!! I was on it so much my GF joined too!

Now on this past trip I did a fair amount of neutral gliding, a couple FAS, and tried my best to not go above 2k RPM. Tired are inflated to 42psi. I am due for an oil change, but it's been cold/raining the past few days, so I didn't want to crawl under there.

Any other words of advice?

Thanks in advance!!

Chris

It looks like you are doing quite well already. Nice work! You may try looking for routes that would allow you to travel at lower speeds. Timing the lights when you are in the city will help too. Welcome to CleanMPG!
