View Full Version : Discovered an Exclusive MIMA way to Crank the Insight Chuck 09-05-2007, 09:47 PM Tonight, I discovered a way to crank the engine without completely turning the keys in the ignition....anyone know what it is? Anyone tried it? HAFNHAF 09-05-2007, 11:33 PM push forward on the joystick in anything but PIMA mode. although i think it uses more battery than turning the key. it seems to come on a bit slower, rather than an instant full-power crank. Mike Dabrowski 2000 09-06-2007, 07:25 AM Assist at stop option will stop that from happening, and the slow response is the joystick ramp setting in the calibration. Yes, that's what I did. xcel 09-06-2007, 12:53 PM Hi Chuck: ___I thought I saw Mike perform that trick w/ his MIMA equipped beauty at the 06 Tour De Sol or maybe it was Randall in his at HF2006? The Insight w/ the binders held looked like it wanted to take off in gear with the ICE-Off and sitting still! ___Good Luck ___Wayne Mike Dabrowski 2000 09-08-2007, 07:49 PM We have been doing the MIMA start since day one, that is why I put in an option to allow it or not. ;) vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
