In the first quarter of 2006, sales of V6 and V8 engines remained steady. While I don't want Detroit to hurt any more, it would be good for Americans to trim their diets, credit cards, and gas consumption. Saw a movie this weekend and it had a preview for the next Fast & Furious movie. :rolleyes:

There may be a silver lining - it the big engine is in a smaller vehicle, it will get better economy more than likely...

Believe this or not but at the present time our sells are up and we for the most part do not sell small efficent vehicles.

Larger trucks, Suv's. Of course one has to keep in mind that Williamson Cnty. in Tn. is one of the 10 richest places in the USA. So there you have it. The price of Fuel does not seem to be slowing these people down in this area of the Good-Ole-USA.

BTW; as a further comment: It is not slowing them down on the Interstate either.
