At the end of the 1990's, dot com stocks were overvalued. The internet is a growth industry, but it won't grow overnight. e-business was one of those things that is not going grow as explosively as first thought.

Back in 2000, a guy in Dallas was paided $100,000 to never leave his townhouse for an entire year. He ordered everything with the internet.

Thing about e-business is it's often like mail-order. You still have a shipping charge. If the volumn of business ever gets great enough, the shipping charge might go down considerably. Maybe gas would be saved with home delivery - it's definitely a time saver.
