While I was making my first serious drive in a Prius on the way to HybridFest - I came up with an innovative way to extend the EV mode. Little did I know that hobbit actually came up with this idea first.

There's gotta be a way to use those batteryless flashlights you shake for power we got at the Toyota trailer :D

Reason I was doing that was traffic got bottlenecked in I55 in southern Illnois. Five miles of gridlock depleted the battery pack to about two bars (visible on video on full screen)

LOL! And I thought Flinstoning out of my garage every morning was the ultimate silliness. ;)
