Hello All,

I would like to share my MPG that I have achived on my new 2006 HCH
to the group.I have had the 2006 HCH for about a month now and I had
three fills of my gas tank, all the three times the HCH has given the
EPA MPG.

1st fill gave me 49MPG:)
2nd fill gave me 48.5 MPG:rolleyes:
3rd fill gave me 52 MPG!!!!!!.:D

All these calcs are based on the number of miles ran and the gas it
took ,not the MPG meter of the car.

To add to this,i have 65% of highway driving and 35% of downtown
driving.I drive in Boston Suburbs of MASS.

I am proud to get this milage and I think most of us who own Hybrids
would be feeling the same. There is no trick that I have to achive
and I mostly use Cruise to drive to speed limit mostly 55-65 MPH.

Nice work!

downtown driving is always a killer. I hope you start to see an improvement after you hang around here. Everyone here seems to improve even beyond what is thought possible. Take a look at krousdb for example. That guy is amazing.

I hope you stick around and help us develop great driving techniques fort the civic. There are several other 06' civic owners here so you should fit right in.

That is a great start, esp. in Boston!

I've heard a few people talk about the fuel economy of the 2006 HCH and this looks better than most reports I've heard.
