Anyway, I figured I would post a couple of links to a different set of perspectives concerning battery chemistries and their outlook/viability for HEV applications. My apologies if a prior reference to one of those articles has been published already.
The first link points to a recent article by Isidor Buchmann (http://www.buchmann.ca/article32-page1.asp), (founder and CEO of Cadex Electronics Inc. in Canada).
The second link appears to be a little dated (http://www.carlist.com/autonews/2005/autonews_94.html) (at least it reads like it, 2005) and also provides some sprinkled facts still very current, that may be useful to some of us.
