I just got an excited message from my girlfriend, whom I have been coaching on some of the simpler FE techniques (basically DWL and not driving 75 anymore.) She says she managed 28.6mpg on the trip computer over ~50 miles of mostly highway driving. I don't know how accurate it is, but it's easily 4-5mpg better than she has been getting since she got the car (XC70 AWD tankmobile) last summer. That's also 4.6mpg better than the EPA highway rating. I guess this means she's a keeper :D

I'm in big trouble if she breaks into the 30s before I'm in the 40s. Might happen!

Better than my wife. The gas pedal is ment to speed up the drilling bit. :)
