We need up to 3 hybrid owners to join us at the Great Race's stop in Lewisville, TX (http://tinyurl.com/yt4bhm) to show off your hybrid.

We have reserved spots for 3 lucky hybrid owners to join us and show off your car not too far from where the racers will be coming in. It'll be a great way to hang out and talk with the hybrid owners and share your experience with others who are at the Great Race celebration. It'll be our own little "Taste" of Hybridfest (http://www.hybridfest.com).

We'll supply the space; all you need to do is show up!

Where: Old Town in Lewisville, Texas
When: FRIDAY, July 6th
5:00 – 9:00 pm

I'd like to, but I live outside of city limits in Houston. This basically means that I have to be on-call at home while lunatics with bottle rockets try to burn down my house. Probably just put a sprinkler on the roof. :mad:

I think I'm pretty maxed on vacation between Mexico, HybridFest and a trip with the family. Sorry.

Got in touch with the editor of The Lewisville Leader today and it turns out she is from Madison, Wis! Chatted for 15 minutes and they will put an announcement on their calendar. Associated community papers will probably put the event on their calendar. Hoping to get a variety of hybrids show up.

Sounds like Willie and his turbo Insight, Little Red Rocket, are coming all the way from California for the event!

Interest is mounting at the 11th hour - the webmaster of www.dreamcars.com (http://www.dreamcars.com) is going to be there to cover the event. Willie with his turbo Insight is coming from California.

I think we will have a good turnout inspite of several weeks of relentless Seattle-like rains....
