We have all had the battery packs get hot in summer, and we know it is not good for it. This is all hybrid cars. Except fot the SUV hybrids with liquid cooling, the NIMH packs are air cooled.
I can heat up my pack pretty fast with MIMA, so I built a Turbo cooler which keeps the temps down.
