View Full Version : Hello from TN
EvlMinion 05-27-2007, 10:39 AM psyshack will recognize me.....
I live in middle Tennessee and as of the 23rd, I'm the proud owner of an '07 Civic EX coupe. I doubt I'll be going some of the more unconventional techniques here, but I'm interested in stretching the mileage on the car out as far as I can. :)

Cool, a neighbor! I work near there in Cool Springs. :)
tigerhonaker 05-27-2007, 11:23 AM Hi Terry,
Cool, a neighbor! I work near there in Cool Springs. :)
Man what a Very-Small World we live-in.
I work in Cool Springs at {Gary Force Acura}
I would invite you to say Hello at Gary Force Acura but I am the Porter there and that means I am moving all the time and for the most part do-not have time to VISIT with Friends.
My HCH II is parked, Backed-IN on the back side of the dealership. If you want to drive by sometime and personally check it out:
It's the only HCH II, Silver at the Dealer, not hard to Spot:
If I have a minute I will say Hello at least. That may be all I have time for though.
Terry (tiger)
BTW, real name is Terry Honaker, Age 61 Yrs. Old. Caucasian.
EvlMinion 05-27-2007, 11:32 AM Whoa, the world just got even smaller - I bought or have been responsible for the sales of 4 cars from the preowned lot.
I think you are the guy I spoke with when I brought my mom's 02 Maxima in to get the passenger side mirror replaced a couple months ago. She got it from the preowned lot.
That's a great looking HCHII you've got. If you happen to go by the sprint store out there, you'll probably see my ride. It'll be the atomic blue coupe. I may try to post a couple pictures of it later...

EvlMinion 05-27-2007, 01:40 PM We are in the same strip as the CompUSA - I'm about one mile over the road from the Acura dealer.
My real name is John.
It's funny that out of the whole giant internet, we cross paths.

EvlMinion 05-27-2007, 03:58 PM We probably will. :) I may bring the Civic in there for its first scheduled service when it reaches 5000 miles.

EvlMinion 06-05-2007, 09:09 PM Finally, first tank down. 33.1 mpg... it's a start! Went 50 miles farther than I average on my previous car and it cost me $20 less to do it.

Hey not bad at all. I think it may evev get better than that when you get some real miles on it. Plus I think the Civic is a really fun car to drive. Right size and looks Great:
Take-Care,

EvlMinion 06-06-2007, 09:58 PM Hi Terry,
I agree. My next step is an SGII so I can see what the car is actually doing and work forward from there. I'm still pleased with this tank. The car's a lot more fun to drive than my previous one (Altima 3.5SE), too.
Heck, even if it doesn't improve much from here, I'm still really pleased I'm getting over 10 mpg better than the Nissan and having a lot more fun doing it. :)
