CEO Bill Ford says bankruptacy is not an option. Ford is doing well globaly - only the North American division is losing money.

Fords in better shape than GM.

I take my hat off to Ford. They are trying. GM is a waitse.

Ford has took steps into the hybrid world. Also they have put a new engine in the Fusion. Its more like a Honda or Toyota I4. Its a departure from the pathtic junk they have spewed out. I dont think this is a Mazda effort either. I think they woke up and took a stab at building a good 4 banger. Time will tell.

I have HI hopes for Ford. They started digging in with the 500 and Fusion shows there thinking,,, just a tad.

GM thinks they can save them selves with SUV's, a crappy hybrid system better suited for sale thru JC Whitney.

It took Fords years to come up with a Honda/Toyota knock off 4 banger in the Fusion.

GM hasnt a clue.

they might if we can abuse FAS in the Green VUE... and the Malibu... if they take longer than usual to release these two products.

Now is better than next year GM...
