Hi Eric:

___I am scheduled to be off right now and plan to attend. My mom wants a Prius now as both my parents are absolutely fed up with $3.00 + per and have finally had it. Since the domestics are not offering anything even close to what we would call fuel efficient, I said she should come up to Madison with me and go out with one of the Prius drivers without the salesman pressure. I will get back to you by Friday wrt her attendance.

___Good Luck

Hi All:

___Although Eric and Linda probably do not have the meeting notes compiled and cleaned up just yet, it was another meet I was glad to have attended. In this case, I brought my mom so that she would have a chance to hear about the Prius and TCH from owners like yourselves who not only take pride in your vehicles but are not going to put on the flimflam - sell at all costs discussion as a salesman would. She first went out with Matt, Jerad and I (Matt is a highly technical 07 Prius w/ NAVI owner including a CAN-View attached). Although most of our private discussion (Jerad and I were in the back yammering on like a pack of school girls about real time Glide currents and Coolant temp stages ;)) was over my moms head, the fact she had the opportunity to see Matt run his voice activated Navi through its paces for a return trip back the Culver’s meeting place and see the back-up camera while parking (all at 61 mpg I might add ;)) was worth the trip all on its own for her. After the meeting, a MaHG member offered to let my mom go out with her while driving her 04 Prius II. I forgot which member but if any of you remember, please pass on her E-Mail address so I can think her personally. My mother was especially grateful for the time behind the wheel and really enjoyed the experience.

___On the way back home, I was pointing out Prius’ as they passed by on I-94 and saw a total of 4. She was interested in seeing a TCH and I said that would be tough. We pull into an area of malls and shops to have lunch just outside of Pewaukee and low and behold, I see a TCH in the parking lot 2 sections over. I walk over and the driver is sitting in the driver’s seat listening to the radio. I ask if he would mind if I bothered him for a bit and show my mom the trunk and ask him some questions. He was more then helpful and showed her more then she could possibly want to see. His wife (the actual owner ;)) came out of the store and starting telling us about the purchase and her 2-week old TCH impressions. She was very impressed vs. the Pontiac she used to own as well as being ecstatic about the FE she was receiving. They had a fully loaded TCH including the leather interior, NAVI, sunroof and even a dealer installed rear seat DVD player for her children. They paid $28,800 which is about half way between Invoice and MSRP with the DVD player and install costing the dealer who knows what? Mom liked the TCH too :)

___As for the meeting itself, there was a new HCH-I owner there that may have needed a little guidance but overall, the std. set of questions and a lot of discussion about HF2007. More volunteers stepped up which is always helpful for Eric and Linda given the extreme amount of un-paid time involved as well as some ideas for other activities Eric will be announcing shortly. Just a quick not to say thanks to Eric , Linda, and all who attended for their continued participation and support as well as making the meet a good one for all involved yet again from my perspective.

___Cheryl, I will contact you soon about the Prius I ;)

___Good Luck

___Wayne
