im 95% sure that im going to be picking one up sometime in the not too distant future

however cant decide on a color, whatever i end up with will have some sort or spoiler (not a park bench, but something that will be noticed... i feel that they look really plain with no spoiler) a set of lightweight wheels, tinted, and most likely lowered

i just wish they had a 5 door in the US... it looks soo much better than the 3 door

___I am not much into the Bling-Bling Ricer stuff but I do admit, the Yaris can be tastefully equipped … I voted red but what I would really like you to consider is the side air curtains, ABS and the power package over any other accessory or mod. The chances of a major accident are probably pretty slim but if you are involved in a major one, the difference between life on a respirator and eating your dinner through a straw or worse, death vs. walking away with a short stay in the Hospital is worth every penny. ___Someone mentioned here last month IIRC that the Yaris rear spoiler would add another 2 mpg. Not a chance although they do look nice …

Yeah,,, get the air bags and power package. Watch out and make sure the wheels are lighter than OEM. More times than not cool looking wheels weigh more. The spoiler looks good on them also. I really like black. But I havent seen a good factory black paint job in several years. Orange Peel and general poor paint application can make black look awful. Get in a 5MT. Ive driven several Yaris. There Nice little cars. FE should be awesome in the hands of a hypermiler. The 3 door is a grat looking little car. Kinda wants to make me take one home. Then I open the door and see cyclops and have to leave it in the box. The sedan just looks toooo Echo'ish.

I've totally changed my position on red cars.

In the past, avoided them because it's said police see them easier.

My silver Insight was rear-ended at dawn, then a couple of years later at dusk. :(

I'd gotten red if it were to do again.

That black one looks sleek. If you are gonna buy aerodynamic, I say that a color that resembles a "bullet" is better.

As a Toyota Prius owner, I view the many Toyota Yarises on the road like a big brother views a beloved little brother who had less advantages early on in childhood (no HSD), but is still getting accepted to an Ivy League school (great mileage).

I voted Blue, but own a Silver Yaris hatchback 5 speed. Last two tanks I averaged 48 mpg, no highway driving. My 90 day average is 44.8 mpg. Great car!
