Yes, I know this is redundant, but now we know it's Giants vs. Patriots.

Still the Giants and still because of their defense.

Neither quarterback shone in their Championship games, but in Manning's case that was more because of the pressure. Brady didn't come under the expected pressure, but still, to use his own words, sucked pretty bad.

I think it's going to be like the last meetings between these teams and the Giants will win a high-scoring game by a touchdown, say 34-27.

Last chance to opin before the big game.

I predict the it will be their 4th Super Bowl win by an East Coast team under a Parcells protege. :p

Giants, both because I hate the Pats and because I think they are a more well-rounded team. If the Giants can simply stay steady and play their game, the Pats won't hold up.

Immediately after my lead Maine Coon (a breed originating from New England) walks into the room, the Patriots take the lead just before halftime....was he trying to tell me something? :D

Patriots 10 - Giants 9

Giants 21 - Patriots 17

Like the Steelers were to the Cowboys in the 70's the Giants have been the Patriots Super Bowl nightmare twice - lead by quarterbacks that were not completely respected enough (Bradshaw, Eli Manning).

The defense told. The Patriots got some sacks, but not the consistent pressure the Giants exerted.

I thought there would be more scoring, but both teams were hurt by injuries. (Well, that's my excuse.)

My friend (who doesn't really care about football anyway) managed to take $50 off colleagues who gave him 6 points he didn't anyway.

My next predictions of the bleedin' obvious: both teams will draft defense. Patriots anywhere they can get it, Giants in the secondary.

I also think the Patriots need to think about drafting a quarterback: Brady's accuracy has been off in the latter part of the season (not just the post-season) and an aging quarterback with a shoulder injury becomes a liability.
