Okay, not all the time! :p But in all seriousness, I do use my scooter for some pretty mundane things when I don't have the little guy in tow.
My first scooter was a TNG RS 125cc that I bought specifically for a paper route (http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10758), and the discussion that ensued. Turned out that it didn't really suit my other wants or needs, mainly the ability to take it on day-trips out of town and what not. So, I sold it and purchased a Kymco People S 250 used from another customer recommended by my local scooter shop. The only pictures of it I have right now are those after a grocery shop after getting off of work taken this summer.

I don't remember the exact dollar amount, but I think it was in the $60-70 range. I was definitely pushing the weight on the back end, but all the cables and support held.
It has been extremely reliable. All it has needed is oil changes (I do every 1500 miles), a new rear tire (roofing nail :p) and a valve adjustment. It probably needs a carb cleaning, no thanks to the corn-tainted gas. :(
So that's my scoot! :)
