I was concerned about extra steps in computing MPG as some of the pumps would be in Imperial Gallons and some of them in Litres.
I was expecting a driving route North through Canada to the Arctic Circle, then ferries across to Greenland, Iceland and Scandanavia etc. What a neat trip that would be!

___By my back of the envelope calculations, you would achieve ~ 175 mpg. The hard part would be how do you make the swim with your Escape Hybrid on your back :D

Nah, two canoes and a mast system. It's a bit like a catamaran. Having the moon roof would help, but I've got a window system for entry and exit "below decks" all planned out. The trick will be managing to catch favorable winds for the trip, especially for one that long. The rudder system I think is pretty clever, but we'll see...
