GM was the only fig leaf that makes this on-topic, but they are pulling their ads from Imus in the Morning.

See http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17999196/from/RS.1/

Try to be brief: I don't know that much about Don Imus, but I've never cared for or listened to shock jocks and other gutter-level entertainment. The Rutger's women's basketball team gave their hearts and souls to win a championship, and Imus' remarks nuked their moment. :(

I'd like to see a world sponsors and listeners ignore such shtick so there is less of it. To this end, GM is to be commended.

I'm sure GM will disappoint me before the day is over if that's what you mean....

If you are commenting about the Imus remarks - I just don't care for entertainers that live on cruelity and crudity....

I've never listened to Imus and I didn't even know who he was when the news broke.

As for GM, I imagine they are only responding to threats of boycotts and are concerned with their image.

GM has enough image problems as it is.

Thats an over reaction, but they will pay because sponsors will now stay... until the ratings come around and they see the audience vaporized.
