So my 2012 elantra was rear ended and it's estimated that the majority of the work will be done and hopefully completed by the end of the first week of October. Anyway, I'm considering leaving the Hyundai badge and the Elantra emblem off of the sheet metal. They stick on, there are no holes and there's no pocket for the badge. What do you think it would look like? I own it outright and will drive it into the ground so no concern for resale, just something I'm thinking about. Thoughts?

I like it! A nice clean look to go with the flowing lines on that car.
Be sure to get us some pics. :D

I like the badges. It is a new model with a great future, but most don't know what they are. I have seen badgeless Prius and they look naked, not clean. IMHO

Take the ELANTRA badge, separate the letters, and apply them to read LANE RAT and see if anyone notices.
Then there are owners who apply the badge with the KDM Avante name instead of Elantra.
It's a personal decision, and you can always stick the letters on if you decide to leave it unadorned and then want to rebadge it later.
Hi Schuylkill:
With your Elantra coming back, take the badges and do not install them. Take some snaps and if you ever get tired of the "look", reinstall them. Like Andrew said, take some pcs as it will be an interesting looking rear end.
