Just few days ago a refill was made. It's been over a month since the last one, so I almost forgot the procedure. More and more I see the methods descibed here really when it comes to lowering fuel expenses and carbon footprint. Still, the refill for almost 60 liters (~16 gal.) of diesel costed $100, which is huge in US terms, but still quite inexpensive compared to some other EU states.
Yesterday I've checked the aFCD when beginning a trip. My better half has been driving for a day, about 50 miles. The figures were niiiice, 3.9 liters/100 km which translates into 60 mpgUS! And that's in a car, rated 45 mpgUS.
The best thing is, I've sensed a small blush when she said: "Uh oh, I was in a hurry and didn't pay much attention, you know..."
So proud of her!
