Today my utility provider is http://www.greenmountain.com/
The price will be about the same, so why not reward them for not generating fossil fuels?

Nice! Too bad they only exist in 5 states (none of which are Wisc.). ;) A practical alternative to going completely off the grid.

I am not without improvement, but it's the sharpest footprint reduction since Sept 2000 (getting the Insight).

Congrats from Japan
Reading the 2005 report, on their site, 100% wind means that you have offset 19,000 miles of CO2 at CAFE standard per year, very impressive. :woot:
I think you get a least 3. 5times CAFE so you can add this mileage to your mileage log, that should give you at a very large mpg. :)
Just kidding, this seems very impressive allowing you some input into the makeup and level of reneweable resources that are used to generate the grid electricity.
Thanks Andrew

I apologize for missing this when it happened but congratulations, Chuck! That's a very nice footprint reduction and I envy you having a local green provider to go to.
