I got a free alignment check last weekend with my tire rotation. Two wheels' camber are only slightly out of range, but the LR toe seems a little large.
Does this affect FE and tire wear much or should I not worry about it? Alignment would cost $70-80.

LF
Camber = +0.6 (range is -0.6 to +0.5)

RF
Camber = -0.9 (range is -0.6 to +0.5)

LR
Toe = 0.29 (range is .04 to .16)

RR
All in range

Hi Tarabell:

___That LR wheel’s TOE is quite a bit out unfortunately :( I am surprised you don’t feel a slight pull. Best would be 0 TOE but you may feel the car wondering with a little wind afterwards. The FE penalty you currently have to overcome as well as tire wear on the LR tire is definitely worth getting fixed. When you do, ask to bring them both Fronts as close to 0 as possible as well. Camber is out on the 2 fronts as well? Did your husband accidentally drive over some curbs or something when you weren’t looking :confused:

___Psy has had some issues with alignment on his 8th gen Civic and I have to wonder if it’s a common trait?

___Good Luck

Thanks, I didn't know if they were making something out of nothing. I'll get it done this weekend. I have a $10 coupon somewhere.

I'm careful but I can only think of a couple little potholes, nothing big. Funny I wouldn't expect that to affect the rear? Husband not allowed to drive the car anywhere but to the car wash or gas station a few block away but he's also pretty careful of those things. I think.

My alignment issue is only with the right rear wheel. It likes to squat out. I had to have sholder bolts made to straighin mine up. But I noticed when I did the rear wheel bearing it had kicked back out some. So next I will key hole the upper strut mount holes. Kick the top of the strut out and lock it with S.S. lock washers and lock tight. It made me mad that Honda didnt see the problem. The car tends to wear the inside of the tire on that corner. Other wise I wouldnt rotate them but every 20 to 25k miles.

Anyway tara,,, get it in. thats all minor adjustments. It should dial in for you. I wouldnt do the toe at (0). I like them either towed out on in a degree or to. I like keeping a tad bit of load on the front suspension. You truthfully cant go wrong either way.

Good Luck
