View Full Version : Gas price compared to other products GreenBlues 03-29-2011, 08:07 AM http://awesome.good.is/transparency/web/1103/gas-comparison/flat.html ItsNotAboutTheMoney 03-29-2011, 08:10 AM $6 per gallon of milk? Last time I paid $3.12. They missed off printer ink. That's really expensive stuff. What it really shows is how much people are screwed for soda. kngkeith 03-29-2011, 08:38 AM I was thinking it was tongue-in-cheek. Keith seftonm 03-29-2011, 08:48 AM It looks like they are buying small cartons of milk and not the gallon jugs? aca2983 03-29-2011, 08:52 AM Apparently coffee is about to go through the roof. I care about that a lot more than gas. PaleMelanesian 03-29-2011, 09:05 AM LOL at the nail polish! $1000 a gallon! And milk is usually under $3 here. brick 03-29-2011, 08:10 PM Sign me up for the gallon latte. I would either be really productive or I would be moving so fast nobody would be able to say otherwise. GreenBlues 03-29-2011, 08:38 PM Seems some here missed the point. I only paid $3.54 for gas not $3.96. The graphic says the source of the information is Peapod.com and Casey's pub Los Angeles. So maybe milk delivered to your house somewhere in Los Angeles could very well be that high. Yes, printer ink. One of responses to this article states this to be "~$8000/gal". vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
