Started filling up the tank but the pump broke at 3 gallons so i entered that in the scangauge fillup and went to another station to put in the last 4 gallons, unfortunately the second 4 gallons cant seem to be entered, only the % value can now be moved and the total gallons seem to have reset to zero, obviously i've screwed up the initial first and second gas fillup setting and am now wondering how to reset..:(

Go back into the Fillup menu and set the offset to zero percent. You can start over on the next fill. Note that it will take two tanks to get back in sync as the first one shouldn't use a change in percentage — it is needed only to sync up the starting point of he tank.

In addition to what Sean said, if you should have to only do a partial fill for any reason just make a note of the number of gallons you put in then when you are able to fill completely add the number from the partial fill to what you just put in. For example, if you only put in 2.5 gallons, don't do the fill-up on the SG, then when you fill up completely remember to add in the 2.5 gallons from the partial fill. I use the notepad feature on my phone so I always have the number with me. I use this method all the time when I don't have the money on hand to fill the tank completely. In fact I had to add in 2 partial fills on my most recent fill-up.

The SG only knows how many gallons have been used since you did the fill-up. It has no way of knowing how many gallons are in the tank.

D'oh!

That's why it's called a fillup.

There is no provision for a partial besides recording partials till a full fillup is made.
