Hi Tom:

___Excellent job at getting that .7 mpg back! It is too bad your daily commute is so hypermiling averse as I would be afraid to think what you would be receiving on a route like mine …

___You really had an excellent run today in temps that were not even close to great. I cannot wait to see what you will receive on a similar drive later this spring in summer like temps instead of the 38 - 45 degree temps like today!

___Good Luck

It's been in the 70's today - I've got an unfair advantage on you guys in the Frostbelt.

Don't worry - Texas summers will exact revenge in the electric bill. :( In a week or two, the home A/C might activate for the first time in 2007.

A/C is already running here Delta. With all these computers and fish tanks running. The house is being super heated from the inside. The folding work is very important and the fish help keep me sane. Money well spent IMO.

I'm not looking forward to summer at all. :(

Yea, I love the warmer temps too. I just gained like 1.5 MPG and I already had like 200+ miles on my tank. I hope the warmer weather will finally put me over 60 MPG on the FCD.

tbaleno--

Wow, 69.2 over 159 miles in an HCHI. Impressive. And here I am, happy that I'm approaching 48 over 250 miles -- though that is less than 15% highway. Best I've done trip-wise is 60mpg over 20 miles -- but I'm still learning, and that's at stock tire pressures...

I loves me some warm weather! --RN

Looks like the remaining trips for this tank has obliterated the nice highway run with the rest of the miles being my typical city driving. I will probably end up around 52-54 mpg for the tank. :(

We're still on "winter blend" and I've managed to pick up a few points just with the warmer temps.....
