Hi All:
___Although none of us will be there, it is the most important show on the European continent and one I wish I had the opportunity to visit. The reason it is so important is the European Super-Diesels and their emission control solutions are out in full force plus the new Prius III concept will be revealed. We have reported on the Prius III in the past given most have seen the right rear tail – sneak peek from Toyota last month. Anyway, here is yet another story on the Prius III release in Geneva with an explicit thanks to DiamondLarry for its find.

2009 Prius III - Hybrid X Concept
___A nice preview and description of the Geneva show from Edmunds Inside Line: 2007 Geneva Auto Show (http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=106038).

___Just look at the first row of vehicles from a previous show in the pic above. I believe there are (3) Toyota Aygo’s with an Aygo concept well lit up and (2) Prius’ behind them.
___Expect to hear more about BMW’s Pb-Acid based Start/Stop hybrid approach as well as MB 220 series diesel as posted in the News yesterday. The Europeans are just about ready to jump on the hybrid and plug-in hybrid bandwagon given their care for CO2 and as of late, SMOG forming emissions so we might hear some news about those as well. JCI/SAFT has two announcements for the European continent to release this year and we might just hear about one of them late next week ;) JCI/Saft can mean only one thing, a European sourced HEV/PHEVequipped automobile.
___Good Luck
