We are looking for the connector that goes on the coolant sensor on the bottom of the canister. (See pic)

Do you happen to know where we can buy one? We are unable to find the part #, even after going to our dealership.

You can make your own if you cannot find the correct part. You would think Toyota would have the #?. H

The junk yard Prius guy down in Indiana would surely have a few spare coolant canister connectors?

What happened anyway?

Looks like a AMP automotive connector for such things as IAC, COOLANT temp etc, check with a Ford dealer but you may have to take the sensor and connector with you.

With Honda there are several parts dealers on the net with pictorial parts indexes. It takes a while, can be frustrating drilling-down to what you need, trying to determine catagory, but most everything is in there, with parts numbers. Maybe you can find something similiar for Toyota?

Wayne- we found the replacement part, but it was not easy. We were shocked that the dealership could not get the part. The guy in Indiana did not have it either.

The connector and pin part numbers can be found in the toyota wire harness repair manual. Its a bit cryptic to find the right stuff because you have to cross reference it with the wiring diagram but its all there.
