The past week or so, global warming has been in the news a lot:

A study saying global warming is definitely man-made.One thing that will be interesting is will there be political backlash on the global warming deniers - could that be like being a segrationist? If we have a really bad hurricane season in the next 2-3 years, will people start thinking this was not random?

If the global warming nay-sayers are wrong then there will be no political backlash because people will be too busy trying to fix it. There will be lots of jobs created and lots of government spending. In some ways it could be good for the economy.
