This is my 2000 Honda Civic LX. It's a 1.6L 4-speed automatic. This is my first car being that I am 18 years old. I am the third owner and it has 85,000 miles on it. I have been hypermiing for over 13,000 miles, or since I got the car.

I live in Pinckney, Michigan which is a small town north of Ann Arbor. Soon though, I'll be heading off to Kalamazoo, Michigan for college. :D

The engine... where the magic happens ;)

Best trip I had in it was 28.4 MPG over about 10 miles. Pulse and glide. :woot:
I'm not going to lie though, this car is fun. ;)

Next is the FSP GMC Yukon Denali with a 6.2L V8.

Once again, it's fun. :p

But there is some hope. My younger brothers 2002 Ford Focus SE.

Ha! Your engine looks nearly identical to mine - corrosion and grime included. :D

Nice trunk - no junk there!

Thanks for posting this. Your car is identical to the first one I owned in all ways except the paint job. It brings back memories.

Thanks for the pics and description. Thanks for being responsible and not "going with the flow" with a Civic. A 3" exhaust tip on a Civic is too much! You have the right idea.

I like the boat. Mastercraft is the premo equipment for kneeboard, wakeboard, slalom, and barefoot. What do you do?

I never have understood the logic where my manual trans DX has no tach, but the automatic LX has one. *jealous*

Thanks! I wakeboard and slalom. Not that often though unfortunately.

Yes, I agree. That makes no sense.
