I leave early to get a jump on the rush hour, but today I arrived only to find out it's a snow day - go home and sip hot chocolate. It's 25F with an inch of snow. Got 62mpg to work, then 68 leaving. Work bound actually was going 56mph - chancy to go over 40 in this weather.

Yesterday's picture sort of had me looking like a survivalist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivalist) in a gas mask. :D

Today's picture is not that wacky, but still looks like I'm a thousand miles off course on my way back home.

Picture from my car. I'm in Lewisville Texas on I35E just leaving the Tx190 Tollway while it's snowing. In case the resolution is not good enough, that's a Toyota Camery with an Illnois licenseplate. Welcome to the Twlight Zone. :D

Hi Chuck:

___The first thing I recognized was the IL. plates and then I saw the snow and I thought what was Chuck doing in Chicago 2 days ago ;)

___My question is have the Dallas/Ft. Worth drivers adjusted to the snow/ice yet or are they still driving like bats out of hell and crashing into one another? I saw a Texas or Alabama vid of an F-150 spinning out on a bridge in front of an 18-wheeler on CNN this afternoon. Just missed him and slid back into the ditch. Cool but scary at the same time.

___Good Luck

This morning, almost nobody was going over 40mph, and most were going slower. It takes only a few idiots to see clear-looking freeways, go 50 or faster, hit black ice, spinout, then force everybody behind them to gridlock. :(

Barely on-topic: did you know Lovie Smith is from Big Sandy in East Texas?
