On Friday evening, January 26 NEDRA will be holding the second annual Battery Beach Burnout which will be at the Moroso Motorpark Speedway (Jupiter, FL) starting at 6 pm and racing until 2:00 am. The event is being held in conjuction with the 6th Electric Auto Association EV Chapters Conference that weekend.
I'm going to try to go. Thought some of you here might be interested.

Battery Beach Burnout was a blast. Highlight: I got to drive a Rav4 EV. To see pictures I took at the event, click here. (http://www.ntensedsign.com/bbb/) I got to ride in a Cabriolet EV and the Solar Cycle as well. I also made some new friends, from the Central Shenandoah Valley Regional Govenors School.
I wish I had an electric car!

Wow, that's awesome. Lots of EV enthusiasts in one place, we
need more of that. Strongly reminded me of Tour de Sol, even
down to the autocross thingie. Were most of the exhibitors from
the southeastish area, or did you get any long-haulers?

One of the Virginia guys was wearing a tour de sol shirt. I don't think anyone was from too far away, it seemed like most of the people were from Florida.
