Hello to all MiHG members and friends,
This will be our last Meet before we break for the 2010 Green Drive Expo break this summer.
http://www.greendriveexpo.com/
While it hasn’t seemed like spring lately, meteorologically it’s here. We should all begin to see our fuel economy numbers going up until we hit the halcyon days of summer. But over the cold weather, our D$A skills may have got rusty so this Meet can be the Spring Training to get your timing right D$A skills. So plan on stepping up to the plate and get back into the swing of driving safer and saving money through fuel efficiency.
Many of you have asked for a Meet with a major segment on the Linear Logic ScanGauge2 with XGauge. Well this is the one you won’t want to miss. Many of you own this tool and may be hesitant about using many of its functions or you have been hearing us talk about the SG2 and have considered purchasing one. MiHG Planning Team member and owner of Clean MPG Wayne Gerdes will offer a detailed presentation on the SG2 and its many capabilities. In addition we will have several units that will be used as hands on training units during the session. If you currently own one, bring it and you’ll be able to go through its various functions with our Linear Logic testing kits. Keep in mind that we currently sell the new ScanGauge2 with XGauge at a unheard of low price with a small portion of this price supporting the activities of the MiHG. This great price is for an essential tool for improving your mileage. For additional information check out these links:

For our first timers, here’s the way things generally work at a meet. We begin to gather in the Library parking lot about 9:15am to schmooze and show off our vehicles. If the weather is good, we’ll begin check-in and our VTP’s (Vehicle Tire Pressures) at that time. At 10:00am we’ll begin to setup our room and by 10:20 we should be set to begin our introduction round robin. We’ll have a short session and then take a short break for snacks and item sales. We’ll then have our main session and offer some updates, reviews, news, short subjects and door prizes and then break for lunch about 12:00 pm. After our potluck lunch, we’ll begin our Drive $mart sessions about 12:30 pm and begin cleanup. Beverages and utensils will be supplied but we encourage all attending to bring some food to share. (Main dishes are greatly appreciated). Be prepared to be gracious, with the understanding that the agenda usually does not follow the timeline.
