It isn't often that people adjust their behind-the-wheel ways after many years on the road, but there's something different about Eleanor Miller's 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid.

"It's changed the way I drive," she says. "I have a gauge that tells me what part of my driving is being powered by gas. I've learned how to coast down hills."

That green-friendly approach to navigating combined with her hybrid engine has yielded a fuel economy of 33 miles per gallon - a staggering number for an SUV.

But Miller says even that isn't the most unusual thing about her environment-friendly vehicle.

"When you're at a stoplight, the engine cuts off," she says. "It freaks people out when they ride with me, but I think that's part of what makes it the most fun car I've ever driven."

Since I kind of have my eyes out for a PriusII, I wouldn't mind seeing one of those featured. Brick? Dan? Tony? Anyone?:)

Sure, I would submit something. I love writing about my Prius! There aren't any good pictures in my inventory yet but that could be changed.

Priapus is pretty darned dirty right now and in no mood to pose for pictures.

I would love to write something but work is killing me right now. You might have noticed I haven't been around much lately. I think Brick should offer the first Prius thingy and I'll try to catch the next round.

Hi Guys:

___I will see if Tim would like to be the first. I will setup a forum tomorrow and lay down a few guidelines to get started. We will need one or two pics of course and a paragraph or two but really basic intro like descriptions is all that is needed. Not the novel like I would type ;) From there, I will format it for the Home page. We might even have a new section on the Home page but for now, let us see how it goes. A pic of you and your car together would be appropriate. I will have to do some formatting on the pic for the home page but that will not be to much of a problem. I would just need you to upload a pic of at least 640x480 and I can take care of the rest after that.

___Larry, you and your Saturn should be next. After that, Rich and his FEH. I will post the Accord after that one and then Tony and his Prius II and so on and so on. Tony, maybe you and I will have a quick detailing party this coming week before it turns stupid cold again :)

___How does that sound to everyone? This could turn out to be a lot of fun actually. With Tom’s new graphs, we should incorporate them into the individual posts. One a week for the foreseeable future is about all that should be needed for now.

___Forum and header title should be called "My Ride" unless someone can come up with a more appropriate title? Tom may even be able to program the "My Ride" members posts to rotate through the home page as well?

___I can see Tom saying, "Oh god", not another programming nightmare to add to the pile! Darn you Wayne :D

I'll see if I can get some pics of me and the Warp Wagon today or tomorrow. But if anybody can get their act together quicker than I can (e.g. you already have some good pics on hand) then by all means go ahead with the first bio and I can be fit in later.

___All, I was called out for work at 04:30 AM this morning and got back just before 10:00. I have to be up again at 04:00 AM so I will not have time to install the forum and post some guidelines tonight. I should be all over it tomorrow afternoon as it is supposedly just an 8 hour day? News is stale right now, Tarabell has a kick @$$ article about ready to go up and I am trying to break down the 08 EPA test criteria and supporting documentation into something most can read in a few minutes vs. the book I am working from. I have too much on the plate right now and not enough time these past 3 days. Sorry about that :(
