My 09 Dakota has no security system. I would like to install an out-of-sight switch that would open one of the circuits that control staring the engine. I have done this to older model cars but all this computer stuff has me apprehensive about tinkering. Any suggestions?

My suggestion: find the fuse for the fuel pump and put a switch inline with that. No fuel, no go.
