Do we have a Comedy forum?

That's the place for this thread.

Our good friends from CNW Marketing Research have concluded that "from dust to dust" the Jeep Wrangler is the greenest vehicle in the UK (don't you want to know what they would pick for the greenest American vehicle?)

Hi Chuck:

___Same old CNW research, different day. IIRC, someone tracked down the funding for these guys and it had something to do with Big oil but I do not remember the circumstances. Imagine that, big oil being involved in this kind of thing? Say it isn't so …

___Good Luck

On the assumption a Wrangler might last twice as long as a Prius - do you mean to tell me the typical driver is going to hang onto it until the wheels fall off? Sounds like another attempt at humor.

....I'm sure Pravus would consider CNW's evaluation as fair as what the BCS did to Michigan (he's not laughing).

The last rumor I heard about CNW's funding was that Daimler Chrysler is behind their "research," but that was mainly speculation on the basis of this marketing campaign. So I don't think we really know what their deal is. Only that they have absolutely no idea how to perform a realistic study.

 **** Straight on all accounts.

Why hasn't CNW been completely exposed as the joke it is? Jeep greenest? Bah.

If you bought into CNW's arguement that simpler vehicles are greener, why not build cars like they did in the 1960's with engines no more complex than lawn mower engines?
