Hi All:
___I was looking over the Australian Camry Hybrid specs and saw the following:
___The TCH includes a secondary heater system for climate control needs - a fast-acting electric PTC (positive temperature coefficient) resistive heater. It is designed to provide warm air for the heating system until the engine coolant reaches operating temperature, when the outside air temperature is below a specified figure or when the heating system is set on MAX HOT.
___It has been years since I have viewed the detail specs of the US TCH but does it have the same resistive heater? It sounds similar to the ceramic units used in the VW/Audi TDI’s?
___Thanks in advance.
