It just seems to get worse - accountants understated GM's loss by two billion, to add their worries...

Hey there is a plus side though to GM. They do have some New Products coming out and along with other changes they are making hopefully will make things better. Maybe not overnight, but in the at least near future.

Hi Chuck and Terry:

___Although I do not have the link just yet (just got home 10 minutes ago ;)), I read in a Florida paper that Wagoner was moving big $’s towards advertising full sized SUV’s again. Not that I paid $2.69 per this afternoon for a gallon but I think if they (GM) do not get that Dual-Mode based Tahoe moved up to later this year instead of next, they are going to be in even larger trouble which is very bad news for all of us in the bigger scheme of things :(

___Good Luck

Wayne I think you are dead on Target. Here is some examples of what I was referring to: I am going to be of a very positive Mind Set for GM.

2004 - GM introduced the world's first full-size hybrid pickup in the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. The hybrid pickup delivers 10 percent improved fuel economy and the highest city fuel economy of any full-size truck. A distinctive feature of these hybrid pickups is an auxiliary power feature for operating power tools and other devices.

May 2004 - GM delivers world's first full-size hybrid pickup trucks to Miami-Dade County >>

Saturn VUE hybrid
2006 - GM will introduce the Saturn VUE Greenline Hybrid (2007 model year). This hybrid system will offer good fuel economy savings over the conventional vehicle and will be one of the most affordable hybrids for consumers.

2007 - GM will introduce the Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid.

GM will introduce the world's first Two-Mode hybrid in full-size SUVs (Tahoe and Yukon). Provides at least a 25 percent improved fuel economy. GM's 2008 Tahoe:
