Obviously done by someone that loves Farve. I quit caring the second I saw him rank Brady above Manning.

Obviously done by someone that loves Farve. I quit caring the second I saw him rank Brady above Manning. Is this greatest passer or quarterback?....in the case of Marino, he was a great passer, but no skins on the wall is the difference between him and Montana.

I expect Peyton Manning's star to rise, esp if the Colts win next week.....what if Brady and Manning were playing for the other team? I expect the Colts and Patriots would both win multiple Super Bowls, but one might argue if Peyton Manning was leading the 2007 Patriots, they might have been 19-0 (and beat his brother).

I have a problem with the omission of Staubach and Aikman (for obvious reasons :D ). Bart Starr and Sammy Baugh are before the modern era (1970), but if it's for "all time" they need to be included.

Tom Brady was getting a higher billing than Peyton Manning, but now the Patriots have slowed a bit and Manning may have two rings by next week, time will be on his side as he sets many of the passing records. I expect Brady to have great years, but being healthy could get in the way.

Both get in the Hall of Fame the first year of elgibility.

As unbiased as I can be I have to go with Peyton over Brady. Peyton has that unique ability to pick apart a defense, and he can do that with nearly any offence he has. Just look at how his rookie receivers are doing. Brady loses his star receiver in the last game of the season and couldn't do anything with what he was given. The Colts opponents have repeatedly taken Wayne and Clark out by various means and he still makes plays with one of the other receivers.

The Top 10 Quarterbacks of All-Time (http://www.psacard.com/articles/article2868.chtml)

When Peyton's career is over, the only quarterbacks that honestly might be better is Montana and Unitas.

One factor that will muddy things is the passing rules have been so liberalized since Unitas....how might Johnny U do with offensive lineman in his day allowed to hold, defensive backs that can't bump the first five yards...many other rule changes?

Pure passer- hard to top Marino. His release was soooo fast, he was sooo accurate, if he had a real running back and a real defense...

Drew Brees has awfully good numbers. He throws people open-back shoulder, or comeback, better than anyone. He has Modest arm strength , but enough for 50+ yard passes.

If Payton Manning had been out of the game three seasons, do you think he would claim to be one of the NFL's top Ten QBs today? I doubt it. Check this out:

“Top 10, to be honest, I’m confident in my skills.”

What's going in Vick's favor is QBs are in short supply - places like Arizona and maybe Minnesota.

This list of the top ten QBs ever looks like one of the most valid: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/the-10-greatest-qbs-of-all-time?ocid=xnetr2-1
