I found this statement at

"During a tune-up, ask the Toyota dealer to maximize gas mileage rather than horsepower. Unfortunately, a lot of the extra energy achieved by a hybrid engine is diverted to increasing power in U.S. models."


Is this correct? What is the setting if so? Can I mke the change myself?

___I have never heard of it and if there was such a change in the ECU, we would have surely heard about it. Just another guy passing along “something” he heard by the sounds of it.
