Last Sunday, I was driving home from south Florida. While cruising at a good clip while heading north on I-95 near West Palm Beach, I noticed in my rearview mirror, an orange sports car rocketing towards me. As it got closer I said to myself, this is either a Lotus Elise, or the real thing. I moved over and let it pass and sure enough it was a Tesla. I floored it to keep up and got a pic at 88 mph(back to the future speed ;)). I paced him for a little while at 90-95mph and then he moved over to an exit. I managed to catch him at a red light after he floored it from the off ramp. I pulled up next to him and told him how awesome the car was and how it was the first one I saw in action on the road. I told him about my electric Sentra back home and he thought it was pretty cool.

I also told him about my first Prius and how I now have 205k at the time on my current one. I turned out he is familiar with CleanMPG so I ended up giving him my user name and told him to check me out. He said just before the light turned green that "there is no better feeling than not having to pay for gas." I thought that was really cool.
And the 05 Prius-II? Just under 208k today and so far so good.
