I am wondering what would happen if we can replace the original HCH II IMA battery with a more powerful set of battery using the latest technology. Will it be possible to increase the fuel economy by upgrading the IMA control system?

I am not at the point of having to change the IMA battery on my 2006 HCH II but if or when it is required I am curious to know the possibilities. :eyebrow:

Not unless you make it a plugin hybrid with a lot more driver control over when and how much assist is applied.
