here's my vacation results/rant/vent posting!
It was me and my brother in the car so i tried to compormise and not hold things up too much. I kept my speed to 5 under the psl and would coast the hills and that where I would get most of the gains. Found that from 60 mph down to about 50 i could get Fuel Cutoff. On some of the steeper mountain roads i could ride fc while not loosing speed and that realy helpd!
I tried to drive as much of a tank as possible cause I knoe he'd kill whatever gains I made. he didn't do too bad though! He was trying a lil to please me. I'd catch him DWL up the hills and back off going down.
now for the thing thats had me :eek: these are thing I got told or heard from family
"Go start the car and let it warm up"
"I always go up this hill it gets me to the highway faster"
This hill is 1/2 mile from my sisters and car is still bone cold , so you can imagine what fuel it burn trying to ride up this is second gear at 25 mph.

" When He let me drive i'd cruise at 75-80 so we could get there at a decnt time"
one good thing was there is a station there that carrys 100% straight gas no ethanol mixed in. I start my reurn trip home filled with that and almost had a 400 mile freeway trip on it!
When I'd drive i'd be around 37-38 range. When brother drove he was 36-37 area. there was one good tank with the 100% gas and that was 40.3 mpg.
Besides That I had a good time and got alot of rest and food! :D
