I doubled my attic insulation this summer. (from R-15 to R-30) I'm looking forward to the benefits this winter.

One of the home show goons tried to convince me that the $1500 credit limit (for a portion of the list) is separate for 2009 and 2010. It is really a combined limit for the two years.

Good info Dale. I'm going to try to max out my $1500. Though it is costing the taxpayers lots of money, this is a program that should register tangible benefits in our national energy reduction.

I worry about the level of government spending and I try to influence my reps to keep a lid on, but if these programs are going to exist anyway, one is foolish not to take advantage.

I'm always for government not spending or taxing and expect everyone that can take a tax credit or break to do so. I just wonder why those that don't agree with tax cuts don't just pay more if they want so badly to, but they don't. ;)
