I just checked my tires yesterday and according to my cheap $20 air compressor, they're still at 50 psi (max sidewall=51psi). This is after 6 months of not checking. Is this normal? My bicycle's tires, before the bike was stolen, wouldn't be able to hold any sort of pressure for more than 2 weeks!
Interestingly, when I got the car new last year the tires were at about 42 psi straight from the dealer where the doorjam says to put it at 32. Is my air compressor gauge just wrong?

My summer tires/rims stayed at 60psi forever...they never go down...
The winter tires I have on now, I'm not so sure, I'll check em today, but they were at 20-35 when I got them.

Usually have to pump up my bike tires before each ride, even twice a weekend.

The tires on my bike need to be inflated every time I break it out. (Every couple of days for a little workout on the rollers.) On the car they don't lose pressure at all except for the usual variations with temperature.

Same thing here. If the outside temp changes a lot during the week, my tires lose a tiny bit of psi, but besides that, they stay the same.

Just a few psi per month it seems like. I'll pump them to 60, then a month or two later they're down to 55.

This. They're now about 5 low from where I put them back in May, due to temperature changes.

I try to check the tire pressures on most of my sleds every two weeks- the only tires that seem to lose air are the ones on the Speed Triple and the turf tires on my two ZTR mowers.

I put my winter set on yesterday. They were all in the 38-40 range, down from 42-44 when put away about 7 months ago, in warmer weather.
This is a much better bead sealing job than the previous set on the same rims.

I'd say I don't loose more than 1psi per several months....excluding temp changes. I feel sorry for the people that have to repressurise almost weekly.

Temp changes are only thing that affects the car. On my bicycle i have to air them up daily if i go for a ride.

I'd prolly say i lose around 1 - 3 psi every month but it also depends on the ambient temp/time spent driving otherwise my tire pressure wont reflect it accurately.

1 PSI per month, top, barring temp changes.
