Recently i removed my mud flaps to get better f/e :).

Yesterday on the Mass pike i was heading to the gym and i looked down at my scangauge2 to see a beautiful 44 MPG. Way ahead i saw brake lights, so i threw on my fashers to alert the other drivers that i was slowing down and let off the gas. The end of the backup was about 5 miles before my exit. The backup itself was all stop and go and it lasted about 2 miles, because of course because people have to wait to the last minute to merge . It took about 10-15 mins to make it threw the backup till traffic got back to normal. It was because they were doing construction and had one lane closed. By the time the traffic was flowing again, my sc2 read about 40 MPG. I was able to get it up to 41 before getting to my destination, but i think i could have gotten at least 45-46 MPG, if not higher if there was no darn road work :ccry:.

What kills me is that the construction crews pick the worst time to do the it. At that time (about 9:30) there was a lot of traffic on the highway. At about 12:45 i went by heading home and there was almost no one on the pike. That's when they should have done it, but of course the road work on the other side was all other with.
