Well, I'm sitting here watching the outdoor channel and this fishing show is on. I think the guest fishing was the CEO of GM. When asked what he thinks cars are going to be like he said "fuel cells." The fact he said it without hesitation means that GMs plan is hydrogen and I doubt that they will do anything significant with any technologies in the mean time.

You would think they would work on a good hybrid system to go with the hydrogen technology, but alas i don't think they are. I think this is why GM is probably going to fail now for the next 20 years if they can even survive.

They will not be able to compete in the hydrogen market if they don't have a matching hybrid system to extend the range and give low end power. Looks like they are going to miss the boat in the next round too :(

Hi Tom:

___It is not that they will miss the boat on HEV’s and then PHEV’s, they will be going the way of the Dodo if gasoline prices rise above $3.00 and then $3.50 and then $4.00 and so on and so on. The FCV is a hybrid with an ill-performing, extremely expensive, and low longevity based fuel transforming unit w/ an expensive an overly energy intensive fuel storage infrastructure to go along with it.

___It will be interesting to see what happens with this?

___Good Luck

It to me is almost as exciting as the space race. Technology is changing and every year we have something new and exciting.
